Álvaro Ramos

Álvaro Ramos is the CEO of UPN and President of the Board of Cibertec, overseeing the long-term strategic direction and operational performance of both institutions. Previously, he served as COO of UPN from 2017 to 2021 and, from 2019 to 2021, also held the role of Regional Transformation Officer, leading the Acelerar initiatives in Peru.

Before joining Laureate, Álvaro held leadership and marketing roles at global and local consumer goods companies, including Nestlé, Whirlpool Corporation, SABMiller, Kraft Foods–Mondelez, and Alicorp.

He holds a Bachelor's degree in Business Administration from Universidad del Pacífico (Lima, Peru) and an MBA from Duke University’s Fuqua School of Business (North Carolina, USA).
