Alejandro Gallo

Alejandro Gallo has served as Chief Executive Officer of Laureate Mexico since March 2025, overseeing operations across campuses nationwide to ensure sustainable growth and operational excellence. With over two decades of leadership experience in diverse industries, Alejandro has consistently led innovation and transformation, particularly in the education sector. He graduated with honors in Civil Engineering from Universidad Iberoamericana and holds an MBA from IPADE Business School, with an exchange program at Darden Business School. He brings over 13 years of educational leadership expertise.

Alejandro began his journey with Laureate Mexico as Director of Strategy and Market Analysis, where he pioneered market methodologies and expansion strategies. Transitioning to university operations, he implemented retention and operational efficiency models while digitizing key service processes. His leadership was pivotal in integrating UVM and UNITEC operations, optimizing financial and operational performance. As Chief Operating Officer, he successfully directed operations, achieving measurable gains in efficiency and growth.

Before joining Laureate Mexico, Alejandro held leadership roles at Johnson & Johnson, HSBC, and Eli Lilly, gaining valuable experience in sales, process engineering, and customer service. His expertise in strategic leadership, team development, and change management positions him as a forward-thinking leader committed to driving innovation and sustainable success.
